Our world-class team includes experts in all aspects of spacecraft subsystems design, development, and test, on-orbit operations, and safety./ph3Responsibilities:/h3ulliInterpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to understand part requirements and tolerances/liliPerform manual machining operations using lathes, mills, drill presses, grinders, and other shop equipment/liliDeburr, polish, and finish machined parts to meet aerospace quality and safety standards/liliRemove sharp edges, burrs, and surface imperfections using hand tools and precision equipment/liliWork closely with engineers and machinists to ensure parts meet design intent and functionality/liliInspect parts using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges/liliMaintain proper documentation for work completed, including inspection and quality records/liliIdentify and report non-conformances or defects during manufacturing and finishing processes/liliMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with shop standards/liliPerform routine maintenance and upkeep of shop tools and equipment/li/ulh3Minimum Requirements:/h3ulliHigh School diploma or GED required/liliMinimum 35 years of experience in manual machining and/or deburring in a manufacturing environment/liliExperience operating manual mills, lathes, grinders, drills, and hand-finishing tools/liliAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and basic GDT/liliFamiliarity with aerospace or tight-tolerance manufacturing environments preferred/liliExperience using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.)/liliStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship/liliBasic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office/liliGood communication skills and ability to work in a team environment/liliAbility to lift 5075 pounds and stand for extended periods/liliUnderstanding of shop safety practices and regulations/li/ulh3Preferred Requirements:/h3ulliExperience with aerospace materials such as Aluminum, Stainless Steel, Titanium, and Inconel/liliFamiliarity with ASME Y14.5 GDT standards/liliExperience working with work orders, technical drawings, and solid models/liliPrior experience in aerospace, defense, or high-precision manufacturing environments/li/ulh3EEOC/h3pIntuitive Machines is an Equal Opportunity employer.
