Summary: The Machinist will have precision machining of pump parts including, rings, bushings, sleeves, and shafts, and the ability to handle.001 T.I.R. tolerances on finished products.
Currently seeking a Temporary to Hire Manual Machinist for our Hempstead, Rd location.
Responsibilities of the Temporary Manual Machinist include, but are not limited to:
- Precision machining of pump parts including rings, bushings, sleeves, and shafts
- Ability to handle.001 T.I.R. tolerances on finished products
- Any other task as assigned by the Supervisor
Qualifications of the Temporary Manual Machinist include, but are not limited to:
- 5 years' experience on manual lathes and mills
- Previous pump experience is preferred
Physical Demand: Must be able to lift up to 50lbs unassisted.
Working Conditions: Shop environment Training/Certifications: N/A Shift Time/Overtime: Part-Time Travel: N/A Education: HS Diploma or GED
