HIRING IMMEDIATELY: MANUAL MACHINIST IN HOUSTON, TX

Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Manual Machinist to join our team in Houston, TX. This individual will be responsible for performing set up and operation of manual machinery (Weiler) in order to prepare metallic and non-metallic parts required in the production of inflatable packers and downhole tools or other products offered to TAM customers and other clients. Pay, Schedule, and Location

• $30/hour pay rate
• Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision
• 1st shift schedule, 5 am to 1:30 pm, Monday through Friday
• Located in Houston, TX

Duties and Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual machining equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
• Machine metal and non-metal parts to required specifications
• Perform measurements using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools
• Cut threads and perform basic machining operations
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
• Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary adjustments
• Maintain a clean and safe work area

Requirements and Qualifications

• 2-5+ years of manual machining experience
• Experience operating manual lathes and/or mills required
• Ability to read blueprints and work from specifications
• Familiarity with precision measuring instruments
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Stable work history preferred
• Experience with Weiler machines is a plus, but not required
• Willing to train candidates with strong manual machining fundamentals
