Job Description – Manual Machinist

Responsibilities and Duties

• Operation of manual machines, Bullard VTL, Horizontal Lathe, Bridgeport Mill, Radial Arm Drill; machining a variety of carbon stainless material/ products
• Consistently ensure safe work practices
• Effectively communicates with department supervisors.
• Interprets engineering drawings, blueprints, sketches, and other specifications.
• Inspects parts, visually and dimensionally to assure conformance to requirements
• Troubleshoots and corrects problems in a timely manner
• Ensure WO’s are charged with time to complete task for production
• Ensure production targets are met hourly, daily, monthly, and annually
• Crane and Forklift Operation
• Ensure equipment and work areas are clean, safe, and well maintained
• Identify opportunities for improvement and work with management to implement on an ongoing basis
• Interact and maintain a positive working relationship with the Team
• Comply with all processes and procedures to ensure compliance with ISO / API requirements
• Complete any and all task assigned by Management to achieve the company goals

Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED
• 8-10+ years of manual machining experience preferred
