Interpreter

We are seeking a skilled Nepali Interpreter to join our team in Washington. This is a full‑time position that does not require English proficiency. Responsibilities Listen carefully to speakers and interpret the meaning of their words accurately. Translate written documents from Nepali to English and vice versa. Ensure cultural sensitivity and accuracy in translations. Use relevant tools such as translation software, glossaries and dictionaries for accurate interpretations. Maintain confidentiality and neutrality while interpreting. Clarify any misunderstandings or discrepancies during interpretation. Keep up to date with industry terminology and trends. Requirements Native or near‑native proficiency in both Nepali and English. Previous experience as an interpreter preferred but not required. Excellent communication and listening skills. Knowledge of cultural differences and sensitivity towards them. Ability to handle pressure and remain calm in challenging situations. Strong time‑management skills.
