Job OverviewAre you a passionate Labor and Delivery nurse seeking your next fulfilling role? Do you thrive in providing empathetic care to mothers and their newborns during pivotal moments? Key Responsibilities- Ensure the safety and comfort of both mother and baby during labor and delivery.
- Implement the Standards of Nursing Practice, which includes assessment, nursing diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver outstanding care.
- Provide holistic care to patients and families throughout various stages of life.
- Develop and update patient care plans, coordinating efforts across different disciplines.
- Engage in shared accountability and decision-making regarding nursing practices.
- Experience in high-risk labor and delivery is essential.
- Fetal monitoring and antepartum experience are required.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant setting is necessary.
- Current BLS and NRP certifications are mandatory.
- Proficiency with the Epic electronic health records system is required.
This position involves a travel contract with rotating shifts, providing a dynamic work environment that requires adaptability and teamwork.
