Job OverviewAre you a passionate Labor and Delivery nurse seeking your next fulfilling role? Do you thrive in providing empathetic care to mothers and their newborns during pivotal moments? Our organization is on the lookout for a talented Registered Nurse to join the Labor and Delivery team, where your skills and compassion will truly make a difference.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure the safety and comfort of both mother and baby during labor and delivery.
- Implement the Standards of Nursing Practice, which includes assessment, nursing diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional care.
- Deliver holistic care to patients and families throughout various stages of life.
- Develop and update patient care plans while coordinating care across different disciplines.
- Engage in shared accountability and decision-making regarding nursing practices.
- Experience in high-risk labor and delivery is essential.
- Proficiency in fetal monitoring and antepartum care is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant setting is necessary.
- Current BLS and NRP certifications are mandatory.
- Familiarity with the Epic electronic health records system is required.
