Location: Bronx, NY
Type: Contract
Shift & Schedule: Day Shift | 8:00 AM – 12:00 AM | Double Shifts on Saturday & Sunday
Pay Rate : $60 to $72/hr (Based on experience)
Position Overview
We are seeking a CT Technologist to perform high-quality computed tomography examinations while ensuring patient safety, accurate imaging, and compliance with departmental standards.
Responsibilities
Perform CT imaging procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols.
Prepare and position patients to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
Operate CT imaging equipment while following radiation safety and infection control standards.
Administer contrast media as appropriate and monitor patients during imaging procedures.
Verify patient identity, review imaging requests, and maintain accurate documentation.
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support quality patient care.
Maintain imaging equipment, ensure proper functionality, and assist with quality assurance activities.
Required Qualifications
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology training program, including military training if applicable.
Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience .
Experience with CT imaging equipment.
Current ARRT Post-Primary Certification in Computed Tomography.
Current NYS DOH Radiologic Technologist License with Diagnostic Injection authorization.
Preferred Qualifications
Current BLS Certification.
Experience in an acute care or hospital setting.
Strong communication, patient care, and organizational skills.
$43 - $65 per hour
