AP Manager

We are partnered with a rapidly growing aerospace start-up that is seeking an AP Manager due to growth. Role is on-site with flexible hours. Comp: 100-130k + bonus Responsibilities:Oversee full-cycle accounts payable operations including invoice processing, approvals, payments, and vendor managementReview invoice coding, maintain vendor records, and ensure accurate general ledger allocationsMonitor AP aging and manage ACH, wire, and check payment activitySupport month-end close through accruals, reconciliations, reporting, and liability analysisCoordinate 1099 compliance, vendor tax documentation, and audit support requestsStrengthen AP policies, controls, and accounting proceduresIdentify opportunities for automation, workflow improvements, and systems enhancementsAssist with ERP upgrades, process standardization, and operational improvement initiativesPartner cross-functionally with Purchasing, Operations, Supply Chain, and Accounting teams to resolve transaction issues and improve efficiencySupport special projects and contribute to scaling accounting operations as the organization growsRequired Qualifications:3+ years of full-cycle Accounts Payable experienceExperience in a high-volume AP environmentStrong understanding of accounts payable operations, vendor management, and internal controlsExperience supporting month-end close, reconciliations, and audit requirementsKnowledge of sales tax, use tax, and 1099 reporting processes preferredAdvanced Excel skillsExperience with accounting and AP automation systemsStrong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilitiesExperience in manufacturing, industrial, distribution, logistics, or other operationally focused businesses preferredExposure to multi-entity environments, process improvement initiatives, or ERP implementations is a plusAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, growing organization with changing prioritiesIf you meet the required qualifications and are interested in this role, please apply today.
