Material Handler Lead (2nd Shift)

Job TitleThis role will have a complete understanding of all material handling, inventory control practices, and reporting operations. They will operate with an extremely high level of professionalism and have the ability to work with the lead, supervisor, and upper management.Principal Duties and ResponsibilitiesAbility to provide direction to others and represent themselves as a leaderOperate as Manager when Manager is off floor or not in buildingExpert understanding of all other material handling rolesComplete understanding of all other departments, and how to interact with themActive communication with employees and upper managementCapable of locating product, completing cycle counts and making all transactions required to confirm, verify or ensure inventory accuracy and financial accuracy is maintainedWork directly with project management and project coordinators to expedite customer requestsMust be able to complete and close jobs (gatekeeper) put the items into inventory and assigns the locations, have knowledge of how to manage excel based reports such as the negative report, manage inventory transfers, etc.Must be able to organize, plan, provide tools and information to prepare shipments for unloading or transitInspect inbound or outbound goods and confirm that paperwork matches actual and address any discrepancies or damage with a lead or managerBe able to work independently while managing multiple priorities at the same timeComplete cycle counts upon request and provide results back to lead or area managerValidate BOM's for accuracy and correct thru the CSF processDetermines method, location and area of storage and provides data back to lead or manager for inventory transactions to be completedShow proficiency and accuracy in completing picking and bin to bin transfers in the ERP systemMust be responsible for specific tasks or roles as assigned (Receiving/ Shipping clerk)Operate all lift equipment but may be limited to lower rack heights or lower weight movesScan QR and Bar codes and complete basic pick transactionsShow proficiency and accuracy in completing picking and bin to bin transfers in the ERP systemQualifications5+ years of experienceStrong leadership skillsAbility to read work orders/prints and have advanced computer skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills requiredPrint reading abilityMust be able to problem solveMust have knowledge of custom store fixture industry and receivingAbility to clearly identify product from package labelsExceptional attention to detail and qualityMust also be willing to work flexible and overtime hours as neededThe Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
