Operations Manager

We are seeking a results-driven Operations Manager to lead day‑to‑day plant operations within a fast‑paced healthcare manufacturing environment. This critical leadership role partners closely with the General Manager to drive operational excellence across production, engineering coordination, distribution, inventory management, and customer service execution. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on operational leader with strong experience driving productivity, safety, quality, labor optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives while building and developing high‑performing teams. Operational Leadership Lead daily production operations involving healthcare linens, medical instruments, and disposable accessory packs Ensure production schedules and customer service requirements are consistently achieved Drive operational consistency, workflow efficiency, and accountability across shifts and departments Monitor and improve KPIs related to safety, productivity, quality, service, and cost performance Support facility budget planning and operational forecasting Drive labor efficiency, overtime reduction, inventory accuracy, and cost control initiatives Identify and implement cost‑saving opportunities without compromising quality or service Lead Lean, Six Sigma, and operational excellence initiatives Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve reliability and efficiency Optimize workflow, production planning, and scheduling processes Safety & Compliance Promote and maintain a strong safety‑first culture Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, GMP/QSR requirements, and company policies Partner with Engineering and Maintenance teams to support equipment reliability and preventive maintenance programs Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and frontline production teams Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement Support employee development and succession planning initiatives Cross‑Functional Collaboration Partner with Sales and Customer Service teams to support customer satisfaction and new business implementation Coordinate production and distribution schedules to ensure reliable on‑time delivery and service performance Qualifications 8–10 years of progressive manufacturing or operations leadership experience Minimum 3 years in a plant leadership or production management role Experience leading supervisors and frontline teams in a fast‑paced operational environment Strong knowledge of production operations, inventory management, and distribution coordination Lean, Six Sigma, or operational excellence experience preferred Healthcare, medical device, industrial laundry, or other regulated industry experience preferred Bachelor’s degree required; Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Management, or related field preferred What NOVO Offers 401(k) with Employer Match HSA & FSA Options Long‑Term Disability Coverage Career growth and advancement opportunities At NOVO Health Services, we are committed to fostering a safe, collaborative, and growth‑oriented workplace where employees can thrive while supporting healthcare partners nationwide.
