CorsoCare Hospice - Michigan

Are you a veteran looking to give back and connect with fellow veterans in hospice care? As a Veteran-to-Veteran Volunteer with CorsoCare, you’ll provide companionship, understanding, and support to patients who have served in the military.

What You’ll Do

Spend time with veteran patients, offering conversation, camaraderie, and emotional support
Share experiences and provide a sense of connection through shared military service
Engage in meaningful activities such as storytelling, listening, or accompanying patients to events or personal reflections
Support families by offering reassurance and presence during visits

Requirements

Must be a veteran
Compassion, reliability, and a willingness to provide supportive presence
Completion of volunteer training program
Background check and TB test

Provide friendship, understanding, and camaraderie to those who served – helping veterans feel seen,

supported, and valued.
