Help supervise and motivate the Line Cooks. This is a PM Shift.**Job Description**Direct and supervise line cooksPrepare daily assignments for the shift team membersCommunicate with the chef to learn daily work tasksPerform work assignments to meet proper quantities within a necessary time frameShow knowledge of all stations in the departmentShow mastery of all menu items and plate presentationsCommunicate with all line cooks for proper pars and production requirements in each stationKeep work area clean at all timesAssist the management team in the control of food and labor costsShow proficiency in the safe use of relevant tools for the job: knives, pots, pans, glassware, stoves, steamers, etcDemonstrate knowledge of all relevant cooking techniques and proceduresAbide by all hotel policies and proceduresPractice safe work habits and demonstrate a responsible attitude toward the safety of other associatesFollow sanitation and safety standardsAdhere to uniform and grooming standardsAttend department meetingsPerform other duties and responsibilities as needed**Additional Job Information/Anticipated****Pay Range**$28.00 to $30.00 Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors including but not limited to job related knowledge, skills and job specific experience / overall experience.**Benefits**Sonesta recognizes that benefits play a vital role in helping ensure the health and financial security of employees and their families.
