We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Payroll Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience processing payroll, a solid understanding of general accounting principles, and be proficient in QuickBooks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organized, accurate, and enjoys working in a fast-paced office environment.
Location: Thibodaux, LA
Responsibilities- Process weekly and/or bi-weekly payroll accurately and on time.
- Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Perform general accounting and bookkeeping duties.
- Reconcile payroll and accounting discrepancies.
- Prepare reports and maintain organized financial records.
- Provide administrative support to the accounting department as needed.
- Previous payroll administration experience required.
- Knowledge of general accounting principles.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks is required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent mathematical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
