Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching credential
• Demonstrated experience working with students in a special education setting
• Knowledge of IEP (Individualized Education Program) development and implementation
• Ability to adapt instructional methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration with students, families, and school staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective lesson plans aligned with each student's IEP goals
• Deliver direct instruction in both group and one-on-one settings
• Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success
• Maintain accurate records, including progress reports and documentation required for compliance
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable input to student plans
• Create a positive, supportive, and safe classroom environment
