Make a difference every day as you support students as a Resource Specialist Program (RSP) Teacher, providing expert special education services to a caseload of approximately 32 students. This contract opportunity begins as soon as possible and extends through June 19, 2027, giving you the chance to establish meaningful connections and drive long-term student success.
Key Qualifications and Background:
- Valid certification in Special Education (Mild/Moderate)
- Cleared background check and credentials for school settings
- Experience working with elementary or secondary school-age students in a special education setting
- Ability to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational, communication, and classroom management skills
- Immediate availability is required
Your Day-to-Day Impact:
- Deliver high-quality instructional support to students with diverse learning needs for 6.5 hours each school day
- Develop, modify, and implement IEPs that foster student growth and ensure compliance
- Assess student progress, adjust teaching strategies, and provide ongoing interventions as needed
- Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and service providers to maximize student inclusion and achievement
- Foster a supportive, structured learning environment through positive reinforcement and evidence-based practices
- Communicate and partner closely with families to support student goals
This full-academic-year contract offers a consistent schedule—32.5 hours per week—enabling you to focus on what you do best: ensuring every student receives the attention, support, and instruction they deserve.
