Make a positive impact for students as a Special Education Teacher in a welcoming school environment near El Cajon, CA. This full-time, contract position offers you the chance to work closely with students in a Resource Specialist Program (RSP) setting, providing support and tailored instruction to those who benefit most from your expertise. The assignment begins as soon as possible and extends through June 18, 2027, ensuring long-term consistency for both you and your students.
Qualifications:
- Active California CTC licensure with Mild/Moderate authorization required
- Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher strongly preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Dedication to fostering an inclusive classroom environment
- Willingness to discuss caseload details and adapt to students’ evolving needs during the interview process
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group instruction in accordance with student IEPs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff to maximize student success
- Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to diverse learning styles and strengths
- Maintain accurate records, complete required documentation, and contribute to IEP meetings
- Support students’ academic, social, and behavioral growth in the RSP setting
