Here’s an exciting opportunity for experienced Special Education Teachers seeking a full-time contract role in an engaging and supportive school environment near San Diego, CA. This assignment runs from ASAP through June 18, 2027, offering a consistent schedule of 6.5 hours per day, totaling 32.5 hours each week. As the RSP caseload will be discussed during the interview, candidates can expect customized support to align with their background and expertise.

What we’re looking for:

• Valid and active CTC licensure in Special Education (Mild/Moderate credential required)
• Experience working in schools as a Special Education Teacher
• Commitment to individualized student learning and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication skills and adaptability
• Readiness for a full-time schedule within a contract role

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Deliver specialized instruction and interventions for students with mild to moderate disabilities
• Collaborate with general education teachers, staff, and families to promote student success
• Monitor, record, and evaluate student progress, adjusting instruction as necessary
• Provide a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
• Maintain clear and open communication with parents and school teams
