Career Opportunity at HIS‑DIR Inc Drummond Island Resort Job Summary Seasonal kitchen staff responsible for preparing, seasoning, and cooking soups, meats, fish, vegetables, and desserts. Maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitation. Responsibilities Prepare, season, and cook soups, meats, fish, vegetables and desserts in the restaurant kitchen. Maintain work area, kitchen, and back‑of‑house storage areas for cleanliness and sanitation. Adhere to scheduled shifts (7 am – 3 pm or 3 pm – 11 pm) and work 35 hours per week with a 7‑hour workday; weekends required. Qualifications Minimum six months of kitchen work experience. No minimum education required. Ability to work flexible shifts and weekends. Compensation & Benefits Regular hourly wage: $15.96 per hour. Over‑time wage: $23.94 per hour. Workers paid biweekly. Optional board/lodging available for $150 per pay period if elected. Accrued sick leave in accordance with Michigan law.
