Health Center Relations Specialist - Desert Cove (7800)

Job Title: Health Center Relations Specialist Location: Desert Cove location, 10844 N 23rd Ave, Ste 200, Phoenix, AZ 85029. Type: Full Time, Day Shift 7:30am–4:30pm, In‑Office, no travel required. Responsibilities Greet patients and staff in a professional, courteous manner, providing compassionate assistance. Process patient check‑in, update records, and notify appropriate staff of arrival. Review and update daily schedules, ensuring accurate data collection. Gather and maintain patient demographics, ensuring compliance with UDS guidelines. Assist with basic insurance eligibility understanding (Medicare, Medicaid, commercial plans). Utilize electronic health record systems (NextGen preferred) and other web‑based programs. Qualifications Minimum one year of front‑office, customer‑facing experience in healthcare, behavioral health, dental, or medical office; equivalent experience in hospitality or banking acceptable. High School Diploma or GED required; associate’s degree in healthcare administration, insurance billing and coding, psychology, social work, or human services preferred. Familiarity with health insurance eligibility and electronic health records; NextGen experience preferred. Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office and web‑based applications. Strong organization, time‑management and multitasking skills, with attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proven customer‑service record in a healthcare setting. Must pass TB test, criminal background check, and drug test. Age≥18; may have less than two years of driving experience.
