Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Nurse's Aide Day & Evening Shifts
Location: Sunshine Terrace Foundation, 248 West 300 North, Logan, Utah
Shifts: Immediate openings for Day & Evening Shifts; other shifts available
Position Overview: We are seeking dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and Nurse's Aides to join our caring team. In this role, you will provide hands-on care and support to residents, assisting with daily activities and promoting their overall health, safety, and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care according to facility policies and care plans
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Monitor and record vital signs, weight, and intake/output
- Support residents with meal preparation, feeding, and dietary needs
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the healthcare team
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Report any changes in resident condition to supervising nurses
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification in Utah preferred but not required
- Ability to become certified as a Nurse's Aide within 4 months of hire
- CPR and First Aid certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care facility is a plus
