We're seeking a patient-focused technician to deliver life-changing TMS and esketamine therapies in our welcoming outpatient centers. Location: Will be based primarily in our Virginia Beach center but may require travel to Newport News for coverage as needed. Reliable personal transportation required. Your Role Provide comprehensive patient care: Administer TMS and esketamine treatments following clinical guidelines, meticulously monitor patient responses, administer and record psychiatric rating scales, and proactively address patient discomfort. Ensure patient well-being and accurate record-keeping: Deliver empathetic and supportive care, maintain accurate EHR, and manage patient scheduling, check-in, check-out, and financial procedures. Support operational efficiency: Understand and assist with insurance and billing processes as needed. What We're Looking For Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or an Associate's Degree, and/or an equivalent clinical certification, combined with significant relevant work experience in patient care or in fast paced in-person patient care or customer care/service roles. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services field; and at least the equivalent of one year of healthcare work or internship experience. Technical & Clinical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems (AdvancedMD preferred). Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) required. Strong grasp appropriate patient/provider boundaries required. Knowledge of insurance payers and medical necessity guidelines (a plus). Physical & Other Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (provided). Reliable personal transportation to travel between centers is required.
