This contract position is available onsite in the Coachella Valley region for the full 2026-2027 school year, with a focus on serving PreK students. Bilingual Spanish applicants are strongly encouraged to apply, though monolingual professionals are welcome. Both experienced SLPs and Clinical Fellows will find this role rewarding, especially those committed to completing a multi-year assignment.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and active California SLP license
• CCC-SLP credential or eligibility; open to Clinical Fellows (CFs)
• Certificate of Clearance (COC) required
• Preference for candidates with previous school-based SLP experience
• Familiarity with SEIS and California Medicaid (Paradigm) documentation is a plus
• Experience with mild-to-moderate and severe student needs, including AAC devices
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with educators, students, and families
• Bilingual Spanish proficiency highly valued, but not mandatory

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive speech-language assessments, intervention, and progress monitoring
• Serve a varied caseload, primarily PreK, with possible itinerant responsibilities across sites
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in IEP meetings
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting communication goals
• Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with school and state requirements
• Educate families and staff to support student communication in the classroom and at home
