Used for excavating ditches and structures, laying pipe and precast concrete structures, carrying material in the loader bucket, and general excavation and backfill. May also be equipped with hydraulic attachments.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesStart engines, move throttles, switches, and levers, and depress pedals to operate machines.Signal truck driver to position truck to facilitate loading of dirt, rocks, and other materials.Take actions to avoid potential hazards and obstructions such as utility lines, other equipment, other workers, and falling objects.May oil, grease, or otherwise service the machine.Make necessary adjustment to equipment as needed.Other Duties And ResponsibilitiesComply with all safety policies, practices and procedures.
