Collaboration, respect, integrity, and accountability are core concepts for our success.What's the Job Like?Essential Job FunctionsPerform routine maintenance and inspections on electrical systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions, utilizing specialized tools and equipment to identify and resolve issues promptly.Conduct repairs and replacements of faulty electrical components, including wiring, circuits, switches, and outlets.Collaborate with other maintenance team members to address and resolve facility-wide issues and improvements.Assist in the installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment and systems.Applies experience and skills to complete assigned work.Provides Maintenance Manager with necessary information to communicate with the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) for troubleshooting and all maintenance activities.Perform routine and preventive maintenance on CNC machines, electrical and mechanical systems.Perform unscheduled maintenance and emergency repairs even after hours, as necessary, and in a timely manner.Perform installation and upgrades to equipment in addition to other special projects as needed to increase machine efficiency and company productivity.Work with Maintenance team to maintain inventory of maintenance materials and supplies to assure downtime is minimized due to lack of parts.Performs a wide variety of skilled mechanic duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and modify mechanical equipment.Complete and document maintenance activities associated with predictive and corrective maintenance activities in a computerized maintenance database.Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to detect and resolve problems.Participate in ongoing training and development programs to stay current with industry advancements and technologies.Maintain NOV guidelines on safety, quality, and delivery.Clean work areas as necessary to maintain cleanliness, health, and safety standards.All other reasonable tasks assigned with the goal of helping the team, operations, or the facility overall.Facility/Group-Specific Responsibilities/ExpectationsChampion facility goals for Safety, Quality, Delivery, Innovation and Cost - seek opportunities to provide feedback on process improvements, cost savings, and opportunities to work more efficiently and/or safely.Remain open to feedback and collaboration with other departments and business unitsRegular attendance and timeliness.Who's Going to be Successful in this Job?Educational & Experience QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in electrical systems is preferred.Equipment Maintenance & CNC machine services/Troubleshooting experience required.Good understanding of the technical features of CNC machines controls, electrical and mechanical systems.Familiarity and proven use of a wide variety of hand, power, and machine tools to perform assignments.Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician with a focus on electrical systems and troubleshooting.Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including AC/DC circuits, wiring, and control systems.Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Flexibility to work different shifts and respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed.Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities /CompetenciesProduction and ProcessingOperation and ControlOperations MonitoringCommunicationPlanning & OrganizingTeamwork & CollaborationReliabilityProblem SolvingAdaptabilityIntegrityInitiativeStress Tolerance/ResilienceDecision MakingQuality Control AnalysisReading ComprehensionProblem SensitivityReaction TimeWhy Would I Want to Join the Team?Competitive WagesOpportunities for Professional & Personal Growth and LearningGreat Health & Wellness BenefitsVacation, Sick & Holiday PayNOV is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
