Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Vehicle Patrol Driver in Norwalk, CT , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a commercial real estate location. This primarily driving role includes conducting routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, responding to concerns, and delivering outstanding customer service. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon06:00 AM - 01:00 PMTue06:00 AM - 01:00 PMWed06:00 AM - 01:00 PMThur06:00 AM - 01:00 PMFri06:00 AM - 01:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location. Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access to the property, verify visitor and contractor authorization as required, and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations. Prepare clear and accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
