Customer Service Rep
Our client, a leading aerospace industry organization, is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Rep to join their team. As a Customer Service Rep, you will be part of the Customer Support Department supporting order coordination and client communication. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Location: Lynwood, CA 90262
Pay Range: $19.68 - $25.00 - depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.
Shift: 1st Shift 7:00am - 3:30pm (may change due to business need)
What's the Job?
- Review customer purchase orders and verify alignment with internal work orders.
- Ensure all process requirements and customer specifications are accurately communicated and flowed down.
- Monitor the MRP system to ensure customer order due dates meet required delivery dates.
- Provide timely updates to customers regarding order status within the required response timeframe.
- Coordinate with production to obtain estimated completion dates (ECDs) and develop daily reports on orders and production status.
What's Needed?
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 2+ years working in aerospace customer service (preferred).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with MRP/ERP systems preferred.
- Strong accountability, active listening, and assertiveness skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with a customer-oriented mindset.
