Certified Physical Therapy Assistant

We are seeking to hire a Certified Physical Therapy Assistant

• PERDIEM schedule.

Certified Physical Therapy Assistant - Qualifications:

• PA Certification as Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Completion of 2-year accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Experience in geriatrics is preferred.

Certified Physical Therapy Assistant - Job Summary:

• Treat residents under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Document weekly notes, monthly notes, and statistics.
• Train nursing staff and families regarding proper positioning and carry over of PT program.
• Discuss treatment plans and goals with Physical Therapist.
• Modify/adapt wheelchair part(s) and accessories, modifies splints or other assistive devices for residents.
