Registered Nurse NICU

Job Summary:

Seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide specialized care in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The ideal candidate will be prepared for peri-strike duties and capable of adhering to strict compliance and onboarding requirements.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Prepare and report for onboarding by 09/14 to qualify for the strike shift.
  
  
• 
  Provide advanced neonatal care during strike shifts on 09/15 and 09/16, including overnight duties.
  
  
• 
  Ensure all required certifications and documentation are current and verified prior to start date.
  
  
• 
  Comply with hospital protocols, safety standards, and patient care procedures in the NICU.
  
  
• 
  Complete all required orientation and attend necessary training sessions for strike eligibility.
  
  
• 
  Document shifts accurately on manual timesheets if badge access is unavailable, ensuring timely submission for payment.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold an active RN license in good standing.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications as applicable.
  
  
• 
  Provide proof of MMR and Varicella vaccinations or valid vaccination/declination attestations.
  
  
• 
  Display flexibility to work during strike dates, including overnight shifts.
  
  
• 
  Possess strong clinical skills in neonatal patient care and monitoring.
