Assistant Coach, Women's Water Polo

Assistant Coach, Women’s Water Polo Stanford Athletics is seeking an Assistant Coach to assist the Head Women’s Water Polo coach with recruiting, coaching, and developing a championship‑caliber team. This role is onsite fixed‑term. Responsibilities Plan and organize team training and practice sessions. Assist with recruiting student‑athletes, following NCAA guidelines and university standards and policies. Understand and apply NCAA regulations; pass an annual NCAA regulations exam. Other duties as assigned by the Head Coach or designee. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree. Previous Division I or National Team playing or coaching experience OR demonstrated success in high‑level age group club coaching. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations. Ability to use technology for player development, statistical and video analysis. Ability to take initiative and ownership of projects. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Cooperation and collegiality with the Athletic Department, Stanford Campus, and Water Polo communities.
