The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at our Ottumwa, IA facility plays a critical role in providing high-quality care to acutely ill and injured patients. This junior-level position offers a competitive salary range and the opportunity to work on-site with a dedicated healthcare team under the guidance of the Director of the Emergency Department. The role requires strong clinical skills, rapid assessment abilities, and the capacity to manage urgent and complex situations in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule: On-site; no travel required

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to acutely ill and injured patients in the emergency setting
• Triage and prioritize patient needs effectively
• Perform thorough patient assessments and administer medications safely
• Manage cardiac emergencies and respond promptly to urgent clinical situations
• Document patient care accurately and timely
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care
• Support patient discharge planning and education

Required Qualifications

• Current Iowa RN license or multistate license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC certifications
• Iowa Mandatory Reporter certificate
• Minimum Associate Degree in Nursing

Salary:  $70,803–$95,596/year (Based on Experience)
