We are seeking a compassionate Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to provide nursing care for patients in the Women & Family Center. This role supports women in labor, postpartum and post-surgical patients, newborn nursery, special care nursery, and pediatric patients.

Job Type: Full-Time | Onsite

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to women, newborns, and pediatric patients.
• Perform physical and psychosocial patient assessments.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
• Administer medications safely and accurately.
• Implement physician orders and medical plans of care.
• Monitor and document patient care using the electronic medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrate strong clinical judgment, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
• Support quality patient care and maintain a positive patient experience.

Requirements:

• Graduate of a Registered Nursing program.
• Current Iowa RN license or compact/multistate RN license allowing practice in Iowa.
• Current BCLS certification.
• Maternal-child or Medical-Surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.
• NRP certification required within 12 months; training provided.
• Basic fetal monitoring course required within 12 months.

Compensation & Benefits:

• $63,000–$86,000 annual salary
• Signing bonus
• Benefits package available
• No relocation package
