Position Details

• Location: Ottumwa, Iowa

• Department: Labor & Delivery / Women's & Family Center
• Pay: Competitive salary based on experience

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for labor & delivery, postpartum, newborn nursery, special care nursery, and pediatric patients.
• Perform patient assessments, create and implement individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and document patient care using the electronic medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
• Active Iowa RN License or Compact RN License.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Labor & Delivery, Maternal Child, or Med-Surg experience preferred (not required).
• NRP and Basic Fetal Monitoring certification required within 12 months of hire.
