Description – What You'll Do

• Conduct both routine and specialized clinical laboratory evaluations—spanning chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more—adhering to established guidelines.
• Assess results meticulously for accuracy, troubleshoot anomalies, and ensure lab instruments are well-maintained and calibrated.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for testing when necessary.
• Meticulously document all procedures, provide training for new staff or students, and actively contribute to upholding lab quality standards.
• Keep workspaces clean and safe, while diligently following regulatory and accreditation norms.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, supplemented by ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be acquired within one year of hiring.
• Must maintain current certification for the duration of employment.
