Compensation: $120,000–$150,000 annually

About the Role

The Visual Designer is responsible for conceptualizing and producing high-quality static, animated, and video assets across high-visibility platforms. The position combines presentation design, data visualization, social-first creative execution, brand systems, and rapid-turnaround production to support marketing and business objectives.

This role requires strong visual design fundamentals, expertise with Adobe Creative Cloud, Sketch, and Figma, and the ability to use generative AI creative tools such as Veo, FLOW, and Nano Banana. The successful candidate will work closely with senior designers, creative partners, and cross-functional stakeholders while maintaining consistent brand standards across formats and platforms.

What You'll Do

• Manage end-to-end delivery of urgent creative requests while maintaining quality, meeting immediate deadlines, troubleshooting production challenges, and following established brand standards.
• Design high-impact marketing decks, visual reports, promotional case studies, and other presentation-based creative assets.
• Translate complex data sets, statistics, and business metrics into clear charts, graphs, infographics, and other visualizations that strengthen presentation narratives.
• Apply typography, visual weight, whitespace, contrast, alignment, and layout principles to create scannable presentations that make key marketing messages immediately clear.
• Adapt creative decks across multiple technical formats, including 16:9 presentations, 9:16 mobile and social formats, and custom wide-format displays while preserving visual balance and legibility.
• Build, maintain, and scale flexible presentation templates using smart layouts, consistent style systems, and reusable components that support efficient brand-compliant deck creation.
• Design static and animated social media assets according to creative direction, platform specifications, and established production workflows.
• Use generative AI creative tools, including Veo, FLOW, and Nano Banana, as part of daily design workflows and identify opportunities to accelerate production and explore new creative approaches.
• Partner with senior designers, creative collaborators, and cross-functional stakeholders to produce brand-consistent visual assets.
• Manage delivery estimates, communicate project status clearly, interpret stakeholder feedback, and implement requested creative revisions.
• Balance a high-volume workload and multiple competing priorities while meeting rigorous deadlines.
• Research and synthesize emerging industry trends and social media behaviors to help creative work remain current and relevant.

Qualifications

Required Experience

• Proven track record of successfully managing high-priority creative projects and meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience interpreting performance metrics such as CTR and engagement to inform design decisions and improve audience response.

Required Skills

• Strong command of visual design fundamentals, including typography, color theory, composition, layout, and emerging design trends.
• Ability to translate complex brand messages into compelling visual narratives and solve creative design challenges.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, Sketch, and Figma, along with a solid understanding of art production and graphic editing workflows.
• Demonstrated ability to incorporate generative AI tools into creative production workflows.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce pixel-perfect, error-free visuals that remain consistent with brand guidelines across devices and platforms.
• Ability to adapt quickly to platform updates, new features, changing requirements, and shifting creative priorities.

Education & Certifications

• BA/BS degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Adobe After Effects for motion graphics and Photoshop for visual design, including the ability to provide creative direction for video templates.
• Social media design experience within a high-volume social agency, rapid-response brand team, or digital newsroom.
• A portfolio demonstrating visual storytelling, platform-specific design requirements such as aspect ratios and safe zones, and interactive media for TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
• Experience working directly with creators or influencers, or personal experience managing a social following to drive authentic engagement.
• Familiarity with B2B marketing and the broader digital marketing landscape.
