Sales Associate

Job DescriptionJob Description* The sales associate would meet customers in our showroom and assist them with product selection. Such as fireplaces, stoves, gas logs, mantels and other hearth products.* The sales associate would prepare estimates, proposals and sales orders.* They would answer phones, and respond to customer inquiries from emails.* The sales associate would need to follow up with customers throughout the sales process.* They would coordinate with installers and other members of our team to keep the projects moving smoothly.* Maintain accurate customer and project information.* They would need to learn product specifications, installation requirements, and manufacturer guidelines.* Would need to provide excellent customer service from the initial consultation through to project completion. The perfect candidate would have excellent communication & customer-service skills. Would be friendly, professional, and comfortable working with homeowners of all ages. They would need to be dependable, organized and detail-oriented. Comfortable using computers, email and basic office software. Have the ability to learn technical products and installation requirements. Sales experience is preferred, but not required. Fireplace, hearth, construction, remodeling, or home-improvement experience would be a plus. Ability to read basic plans and understand measurements is a plus. Must be willing to learn and work as part of a team. Our office is open Monday - Friday and 1/2 day on Saturday.
