Production Supervisor- 2nd Shift

Responsibilities Providing guidance and leadership to all department personnel on assigned shift Managing line efficiencies, key performance indicators, and downtime Monitoring the production process, conducting periodic checks, and adjusting equipment or work practices in accordance with standard operating procedures Ensuring equipment in the assigned area is in working order and that working conditions are safe at all times Verifying the production line’s readiness at start-up Managing overall product quality to ensure all standards and specifications are met Assisting employees with troubleshooting problems and coaching them through making the correct adjustments Staffing, training, evaluating, and developing team members Championing company‑wide safety programs and initiatives Providing coaching, problem‑solving, and team building for the department Requirements High school diploma or GED required with 2+ years supervising production staff Basic computer and database application skills Familiarity with manufacturing systems Demonstrated leadership ability and strong communication skills Ability to work within timelines and in pressure situations Ability to handle multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities Schedule may include weekends Preferred Skills Bachelor’s degree Food manufacturing experience Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, employee is required to stand for long periods of time, walk, frequently lift material up to 50 pounds, with frequent twisting, turning, reaching, pushing and pulling using hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs, balance; stoop, kneel or crouch; talk and hear Work Environment Work is normally performed in a sub‑zero freezer/warehouse/production environment As part of the job requirements, the employee will be exposed to working in a warehouse setting with cold temperatures (−20 °C) at times Must be flexible with work schedule that supports a 24‑hour production facility Equal Opportunity Employer Case Farms is an Equal Opportunity / Affidavitative Action employer.
