Job Title: Business Development Representative (Construction Staffing) Company: HireQuest Direct Compensation: $50,000–$60,000 base salary + uncapped commission Overview HireQuest Direct is hiring a Business Development Representative in Jacksonville focused on driving new business within the construction industry. This is a high‑activity, field‑based sales role centered on prospecting, cold outreach, and building relationships with contractors and construction project managers. The role requires strong daily discipline, consistent in‑person client engagement. Key Responsibilities Prospect, target, and secure new construction accounts through cold calling, job site visits, and networking Develop and maintain a pipeline of new business within commercial and residential construction Conduct regular in‑person meetings at job sites and client offices to identify staffing needs Present HireQuest staffing solutions and close new customer accounts Maintain daily outbound activity including calls, visits, and new business development metrics Partner with recruiting teams to ensure timely fulfillment of client labor needs Track sales activity and pipeline progress in CRM systems Requirements 1+ years of sales experience (staffing, construction, or B2B strongly preferred) Demonstrated ability or strong willingness to hunt for new business through outbound prospecting Comfortable with field sales and frequent job site visits Strong communication, persistence, and relationship‑building skills Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Base salary: $50,000–$60,000 depending on experience Uncapped commission based on revenue generated Earnings potential tied directly to performance and new client acquisition Mileage/travel reimbursement as applicable Full‑time role with advancement opportunities within the organization This is a high‑output sales role combining early morning office activity with daily field execution.
