Senior Financial Reporting Analyst

The Senior Financial Reporting Analyst is responsible for the coordination and preparation of management financial reporting and analysis, as well as recording journal entries and account reconciliations for complex accounting areas. The Senior Analyst will report to the Senior Manager or Director in Accounting, and be involved in process improvement projects and accounting for significant transactions. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES, other duties may be assigned.Assist with the development and maintenance of financial reporting processes.Assist with process improvement initiatives, accounting system implementations and other special projects.Coordinate with peers in the budgeting and forecasting department to analyze and prepare variance reporting.Provide support for the annual internal and external audits.Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations for intercompany transactions and complex accounting areas.Execute on designed SOX internal controls governing public companies.Assist on special projects, including accounting for significant transactions.Responsible for supporting management initiatives including process standardization and simplification, financial analysis and research, and reporting.Collaborate with other department in accomplishing strategic objectives.BASIC QUALIFICATIONSBA/BS in Accounting or Finance or Business Management with an emphasis in Accounting.Two or more years of experience in the accounting/financial reporting areas.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSCPA.Three or more years of experience in the accounting/financial reporting areas.Experience in public accounting at a Big 4 firm.MBA, or graduate finance related degree.Workday or other large ERP systems experience.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIESExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with all levels of the organization.A strategic thinker with an understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and financial processes.Professional agility.Intermediate/advanced Microsoft Excel skills.Experience with automated accounting systems.Must have the ability to effectively interface with all levels of the organization.Demonstrate willingness to partner across internal departments.TOTAL REWARDSThis role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending and HSA accounts; paid holidays; paid time off; paid volunteer days; employee assistance program; tuition assistance; parental leave; military leave assistance; QTS scholarship for dependents; wellness program, and other company benefits.This position is Bonus eligible.We conform to all the laws, statutes, and regulations concerning equal employment opportunities and affirmative action.
