Brighter Day is looking for compassionate and caring individuals to join our team as a Direct Care Professional to provide care to the individuals we support. You will work in home settings supporting individuals with daily living activities, participating in recreational activities, and fostering positive relationships. Come be part of a growing team!

- Flexible and willing to adapt to change. The level of support may vary depending on the needs of the individual.
- Must be 18 years of age with a valid driver's license, automobile insurance, and a vehicle.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities
- Assist with activities of daily living
- Implement individualized care plans and follow specific protocols
- Support individuals in achieving their personal goals and promoting independence
- Assist with medication administration and documentation as required
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for individuals
- Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals
HOURS NEEDED:
- Saturday and Sunday's Only!
- 7a-3p
- 3p-11p
- 11p-7a
SKILLS NEEDED:
- Experience in providing care to individuals with developmental disabilities or similar populations preferred but not required
- Ability to work effectively with people with diverse needs and backgrounds
- Strong communication skills to interact with individuals, families, and team members
- Ability to work independently in a fast paced, team orientated environment
