Construction Laborer

Job Full Description

Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting for our Sherman, NY client. Our client is looking for Construction Laborers. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the construction industry and learn a specialized trade skill with strong earning potential.

The ideal candidate will have reliable transportation, a drivers license, a strong work ethic, and the ability to perform physical labor. Previous construction experience is helpful but not required. Candidates with transferable skills from landscaping, manufacturing, warehouse, production, general labor, or related fields are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist with general construction labor duties.
• Load, unload, and transport materials as needed.
• Support job site setup, cleanup, and project completion.
• Follow safety procedures and supervisor instructions.
• Perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions.
• Learn spray foam installation through hands-on training.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation required.
• Ability to perform physical labor and lift materials.
• Ability to read and use a tape measure preferred.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Construction or related transferable experience is a plus.

This position offers on-the-job training in spray foam insulation , a highly valuable trade skill. As experience and proficiency increase, there is significant earning potential.

Hours are M-F 8 am to 5 pm with pay starting between $20-$25/hr.
