Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Customer Care in Columbus, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.63 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeMon02:30 PM - 09:30 PM Tue02:30 PM - 09:30 PM Wed02:30 PM - 09:30 PM Thur02:30 PM - 09:30 PM Fri02:30 PM - 09:30 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help identify unusual activity or conditions. Monitor access points and report unauthorized entry attempts, suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and security‑related incidents according to site procedures. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken. Maintain clear and accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation while communicating professionally with site contacts and emergency responders. Minimum Requirements Customer service experience is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
