As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Access Records in Columbus, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a food and beverage location. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, manage access points, and provide courteous customer service. This role offers the opportunity to communicate professionally, respond to security-related concerns, and contribute to a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel at a food and beverage production or distribution location by following site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, loading docks, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for personnel, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and security-related concerns, and promptly communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
