As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and use computer or tablet systems as needed. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and communicating with Allied Universal leadership and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports documenting patrols, incidents, observations, and shift activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
