As a Security Officer Unarmed Driver Patrol Compliance in Columbus, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading technology data center location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and deliver exceptional customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, visitors, and/or vendors at a technology data center by carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the data center interior, exterior, perimeter, access points, parking areas, and/or critical infrastructure areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and/or delivery activity in accordance with site policies, verifying credentials and directing individuals as needed.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Complete detailed activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications while supporting a professional, service-oriented environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
