Material Control Supervisor

As a Material Control Supervisor, you will lead a warehouse team, ensuring safety protocols are followed, inventory is accurately tracked, and orders are fulfilled in a timely manner. This is an onsite position that will require flexibility including the ability to work any shift, including nights, weekends and most holidays. Eligible for overtime pay when working holidays. There is no hybrid option for this position. The primary role of a Material Control Supervisor is to oversee the day-to-day operation of a Parts Distribution Center. Responsibilities include but not limited to: u2022 Lead a represented team responsible for Receiving, Packaging, Replenishment, Picking, and Shipping. u2022 Deliver objectives related to Cost, Quality, Safety, Efficiency, Absenteeism. u2022 Engage with key stakeholders including suppliers to deliver key objectives. u2022 Maintain a positive working relationship with all stakeholders, including fair and consistent administration of the Collective Bargaining Agreement. u2022 The ability to manage behaviors and accountability in process, in yourself and the hourly workforce. Youu2019ll haveu2026 + High School Diploma or GED. + Minimum 1 year leadership experience. + Minimum 1 year work experience in similar positions. + Willing and able to work weekends, holidays, and afternoon shifts with varying hours. Must be flexible with shift times, and willing and able to work overtime. + Must be willing and able to work onsite full-time, in the Kansas City High Velocity Center (Shawnee, KS) + Demonstrated ability to actively listen, collaborate and problem solve with stakeholders. + Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism in difficult and stressful situations. + Demonstrated exceptional oral and written communication skills. + Working Knowledge of Microsoft: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Even better, you may haveu2026 u2022 Bachelor Degree. u2022 Prior Warehouse supervisor experience. u2022 Experience working in a UAW environment. u2022 Experience in warehouse/distribution/ production operations. u2022 Knowledge of WMS-Warehouse Management Systems-Preferably SAP/EWM u2022 Knowledge of Payroll Systems.
