Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adult patients in a high-acuity Med Surg/respiratory care environment, delivering safe, evidence-based care
- Monitor patient status, assess vitals and clinical changes, administer medications and IV therapies, and assist with procedures
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to develop, implement, and adjust care plans; document in the electronic medical record (Cerner experience preferred)
- Responsible for patient and family education, discharge planning, and ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Recognize and respond to acute changes, including monitoring for respiratory distress and implementing appropriate interventions
- Maintain accurate documentation, complete handoffs, and comply with unit protocols and infection control practices

Requirements
- Active registered nurse license in New Hampshire or a valid compact state license; NH license verification required at submission and NHISS verification prior to start
- BLS and ACLS certifications; NURSYS license verification
- 2+ years of Med Surg/Telemetry/High-acuity experience in a similar setting
- Dysrhythmia exam required during onboarding with a preferred score of 80%
- Cerner EMR experience preferred
- Ability to work in a high-acuity Med Surg/Respiratory Care unit; willingness to float to nearby unit locations as needed
- RTO (time-off requests) must be included at time of submission
- Local candidates may be considered for local rate requirements (as applicable)
