Travel Registered Nurse – Operating Room (Neuro/Spine)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 Weeks) | Days | 5x8-hour shifts, 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week | On-Call Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care to surgical patients in a Main OR setting with a focus on Neuro/Spine cases
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio within a 24-bed operating room environment
• Operate and assist with OR equipment and instrumentation throughout surgical procedures
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and quality care before, during, and after procedures
• Respond to on-call requirements as scheduled by the department
• Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
• Demonstrated experience in General Surgery and Orthopedics
• Current BLS certification
• NIH certification required
• Ability to meet on-call obligations as required by the unit

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Da Vinci Robotic surgical system
• Experience with Maxillofacial surgical procedures
• Proficiency with Epic EMR
