Job Opportunity: Nocturnist OBGYN Hospitalist

Our organization is currently in search of a dedicated full-time nocturnist OBGYN Hospitalist to manage an average of 3 to 14-hour shifts each week, typically from 5 PM to 7 AM. Support will be provided through back-up call from two hospital-employed groups.

Service Line Highlights

• We operate in a close-knit community, offering the advantages of a small town while providing access to most academic resources.
• Our facility features a top-tier Level III NICU and has recently integrated a local Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialist for consultations.
• We promote Vaginal Birth After Cesarean (VBAC) and have in-house anesthesia services available.

Compensation and Incentives

Work Schedule and Call Coverage

• Current Hospitalist coverage includes 2 weekdays per week and all weekends.
• The hospital aims to establish full weekday night and weekend coverage for generalist groups within the next six months.
• Call schedule is 1:7, with a backup weekend call of 1:6.
• Post-call day off is provided for primary overnight coverage; otherwise, AM-only office hours are available for backup overnight coverage.
• Expect 2.5 to 3 total office days per week.
• We collaborate on all major GYN surgeries and have robotic surgery capabilities.
• OB volume is shared, including a significant number of high-risk patients.

Additional Benefits
