We are currently seeking to hire a Senior Sales Director, North America to join our team! You will be responsible for leading and driving the sales and profitability growth strategy for IQ America, Inc. with a strong focus on developing and managing key relationships with major big-box retailers and national accounts in the North America. The role requires a highly energetic, results-driven, and commercially astute sales leader with proven experience in big-box retail sales, business development, and strategic account management. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding market share, identifying new business opportunities, and strengthening customer partnerships to achieve aggressive revenue and profit targets.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and profitability growth objectives.
• Lead and manage sales activities for big-box retailers and national accounts such as Home Depot, Lowe’s, Walmart, Target, Costco, and other key retail channels.
• Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term customer relationships with key buyers, sales representatives, and decision-makers.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities, product categories, and retail channels.
• Collaborate closely with the Business Development team in IQ Malaysia to support customer requirements and sales initiatives.
• Drive Product Line Reviews (PLRs), customer presentations, promotional activities, and negotiations of supply terms.
• Monitor market trends, the competitive landscape, customer demands, and industry developments to formulate effective sales strategies.
• Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, business plans, and periodic management reports.
• Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and commercial agreements with customers.
• Mentor and guide the sales team while fostering a high-performance and results-oriented culture.
• Travel regularly throughout the North America to meet customers, attend trade shows, and support business development activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant sales experience, with strong exposure to big-box retailers and national retail accounts in the North America.
• Proven track record of driving sales and profitability growth while managing strategic customer relationships.
• Experience with motion sensor lighting and/or lighting products sold through big-box retailers will be an added advantage .
• Strong understanding of retail sales processes, product line reviews, pricing strategies, EDI systems, and retailer compliance requirements.
• Willingness to travel extensively as required.
